At Diveline Scuba Centre, we are proud to offer nationally recognised courses in First Aid through PADI RTO, designed to meet Australian workplace requirements. Our specialty is to tailor courses for SCUBA divers with theory and practical training focusing on situations that divers may encounter. Courses can also be tailored to meet the needs of individual workplaces.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, use AED's (automated external defibrilators), and provide basic life support during a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Completion of this unit will satisfy the requirements of PADI Rescue Diver pre-requisites.
