Prerequisites:

• Certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver
• Minimum of 15 years of age for rescue diver course
• Need to be in good physical and mental health
• Diver scuba diving medical Highly Recommended. Required if you are over 45 years of age, and, or if you answer yes to any question on the medical disclaimer. Spums.
• Your own mask, snorkel, boots and fins (receive 10% of snorkeling gear at Diveline whilst booked on course)

PADI Rescue Diver Course consists of :

• Knowledge Development (online, independent study )
• Open Water Dives (5 Shore Dives )

Costs Include:

• PADI Rescue Diver e-learning.
• Use of Rental Scuba Equipment, (where required) including BCD (Buoyancy Control Device), Regulators, Computer, Weights, Cylinders and Air Fills
• Professional PADI Scuba Diving Instructor for 2 Days
• PADI Certification Card, Most accepted diving licence in the world. Life long licence.

Cost does NOT include:

• Snorkelling, being appropriate scuba diving Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Booties
• Travel to other locations used during the undertaking of the course

Whilst booked on course you are entitled to 10% off snorkelling gear available for purchase at Diveline
Basic snorkelling gear equipment can be hired for $40 a day,

Course Structure

• Day Description Duration
• Day 1 Theory & Confined Water Dives pproximately 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Day 2 2 x Open Water Shore Dives Approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Day 3 1 x Open Water Boat Dive & 1 x Shore Dive Approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Your Next Adventure: 

After completing CPR and first aid and the PADI Rescue Diver course, you should take the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course. Together, these three courses round out your ability to handle scuba diver emergencies.

• Diveline has the right to assess personal snorkelling gear and scuba equipment to ensure suitability.  
• If you do not pass all the skills on any day, you will not be able to continue onto the next day. You will be asked to repeat the day at an additional cost. 
• Courses need a minimum number of students to run.
• Courses are weather dependant.
• Courses can be cancelled and postponed due to any of the above reasons and others determined by Diveline Scuba Centre.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation of course will result in a $100 administration fee and is not refundable.
• Once PADI E-Learning has been activated, $250 of course fees is non-refundable, due to you having access to this E-learning forthgoing.
• Cancellation of course within 72 hours results in 100% of the course costs, due to bookings for pools, boats, instructors and divemasters.
• Cancellation of boat dives within 72 hours results in non-refundable boat costs. 
• Each postponement of course to another date will incur a $50 admin fee.
• Please, note that if the course is booked and delayed for more than 12 months and the course cost increases, additional cost is payable.
