At Diveline Scuba Centre, we are proud to provide this nationally recognised course. The unit of competency will provide the outcomes, skills and knowledge required to visually inspect and fill SCUBA cylinders. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to successful participants.

As a nationally recognised course within the Australian Qualifications Framework, this course will meet requirements for Occupational Health & Safety within your workplace, and also meet Worksafe Victoria guidelines stating that filling of SCUBA cylinders should only be performed by a suitably competent person with proper training. 

It applies to divemasters, instructors and shop support staff. This course can also benefit any divers who would like to advance their skills and experience in all areas of SCUBA diving.

This unit applies to any type of organisation that delivers SCUBA diving activities and dive instruction including commercial, not-for-profit and government organisations.

This unit does not cover specialist skills to undertake cylclic inspection and testing of cylinders. 

No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
